Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour plus bonus potential.

Reporting directly to the Marine Service Manager, primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to.• Welcoming customers and gathering the required information to identify
the boat, outboard and maintenance work required. • Advise customers on maintenance schedules, explain the importance of maintenance based on manufacturers recommendations, sell services, understands, and applies factory and aftermarket warranties. • Recommends additional services. • Completes walk-around, checks history for any recalls and campaigns and provides customer with an expected time frame for completion. • Verifies the scope of warranty coverage prior to the work being done and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained. • Monitors the progress of the work and keeps customers informed regarding the status of their units. • Keep service department forms, menus, and pricing guides up to date. |
Qualifications:• Working experience 1-3 years in a customer service or sales position.
• Previous experience working in a marine as service writer or advisor preferred. • Able to work well under pressure. • Strong attention to detail and customer needs. • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally always with great communication skills. • Experience with CDK software would be considered an asset. • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. • Must have valid driver's license.
