The mission of the Financial Services Manager is to build and foster relationships with our clients that goes beyond that of their ownership term. Shore Cycle &

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, primary responsibilities
​will include, but not be limited to :

• Review the customer's credit application and credit report and discuss the
available finance options to meet their needs.

• Arrange financing with various lenders, following up on credit applications
on a continual basis and negotiating with institutions for approvals.

• Prepare delivery documentation, including the preparation of the loan
documents, licensing paperwork and other legal forms required by
provincial and federal regulatory bodies.

• Ensures that purchase agreements, bills of sale, finance contracts,
applications for registration and all other documents necessary for the sale
of vehicles are completed accurately and in full compliance.

• Sell value added products including extended warranties and insurance
products that meet the needs of our clients.

• Familiarize and remain up to date with product knowledge and monthly
manufacturer programs.

• Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position.

• Sets monthly goals, organizing and plan for how to reach those objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of financial services experience (required).
• Special finance or subprime experience is preferred.
• Ability to read, understand and calculate banking figures such as discounts,
  interest rates, percentages, and commissions etc.
• Familiarity with CDK Global and/or Customer Relationship Management
  (CRM) considered an asset.
• Adaptable to all types of people and personalities while maintaining a
  presentable and professional appearance.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation & presentation skills.
• Outgoing and confident when engaging and meeting with new clients.
• Holds a valid driver’s license.
